N. Jane Quackenbush

N. Jane Quackenbush is an award-winning author whose books have been featured at The Carnegie Mellon, The Kennedy Space Center, as well as many boutique gift stores. With a specialty in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) infused fiction, her books introduce young readers to all the wonders of the universe. She uses skills passed down from her educator parents to not only tell mesmerizing stories but capture her audiences curiosity through applied science.

Her first book, The Rocket Ship Bed Trip, based on a dream she had at just four years old, takes the reader on a journey through our solar system. Designed to be an introduction to astronomy, it also promises to fuel sweet dreams. It won the FAPA President’s Award for best Children’s Picture Book 2014 and was endorsed by the record-breaking astronaut, Dr. Kathryn Thornton.

With other great titles such as The Pirate Ship Bed Trip, The Afternoon Moon, The Children’s Horrible House series, The Amazing Grace Newton series, and her latest release The Dark Unicorn, readers of all ages are sure to find the perfect book for them.

N. Jane Quackenbush is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University. She lives in St. Augustine, Florida in a hidden home surrounded by magical woodlands. You can find her most Saturdays at The AMP, St. Augustine Amphitheatre Farmer’s Market, where she engages with well-known book lovers and new fans.
